ISHDO got recognition from Addis Ababa Health Bureau for its great contribution and financial support in commemorating World AIDS Day with different activities. Sr. Eden WoldeMichael from ISHDO Global Fund Received the certificate by representing ISHDO, on a special program organized by the Bureau on 8 February 2024.
The nine staff of USAID Mulu KP Activity who are working at Bole DIC received certificates of recognition for their committed and dedicated services provided to organize and host the high-level USAID visitors program to Bole DIC on February 1, 2024. The staff showcased the Mulu KP activity in general and the DIC’s one-stop shopping services in particular. Visitors well appreciated the Mulu KP activity and the commitment of the staff.

The USAID Family Focused HIV Prevention Care and Treatment Activity (FFHPCTA) of ISHDO (a prime partner of USAID) celebrated the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence with the seven of its Implementing partners (subgrantees) on 1 December 2023 at Sapphire Addis Hotel in Addis Ababa. The FFHPCTA has been implemented by seven local implementing partners (IPs) across 55 districts/ SNU in the Oromia and Gambela.
The day was marked by activity-based awareness-raising sessions that involved all participants.
Before the closing of sessions, participants vow to stand against gender-based violence in their respective organizations and communities
ISHDO took part in the organized by the Authority for Civil Society Organizations in Ethiopia and Council for CSOs in Ethiopia, held at Butajira Town, on 5 August 2022.
ISHDO participated in the National Tree Planting Program organized by Population, Health and Environment (PHE) Ethiopia on 4 August 2022 in Addis Ababa.
The ISHDO SUB -USAID Family Focused HIV Prevention Care and Treatment Activity FY2022 Third Quarter Performance Review Meeting has been carried out at Canopy Hotel, Adama, on 21 & 22 July 2022.
The ISHDO sub team from 12 operational sites participated in the review meeting and the certificate of recognition provided to CEFs, SSW and Care and support staff who has high work performance during this review meeting.
The ISHDO-USAID Family Focused HIV Prevention Care and Treatment Activity FY2022 Third Quarter Performance Review and FY23 Annual Planning Meeting has been carried out from 13 to 15 July 2022 at Ayu International Hotel, Adama in the presence of the ISHDO Prime and Sub staff, Oromia Health Bureau, Key project staff of Sub implementing partners, members of technical support team of HOPE Ethiopia and, others.
The Ethiopian CSOs in partnership with the Authority for CSOs organized a CSOs Week, which was held at Addis Ababa Hilton Hotel from 30 June to 2nd July, 2022. ISHDO and about 100 other CSOs showcased their development programs and projects in Ethiopia. Thousands of people have been visited the exhibition, including some members of our board and the Executive Director.
